Description
Welding electrodes of S-46 grade have excellent welding and processing characteristics, and are designed for manual arc welding of structures made of carbon and low-alloy structural steels and shipbuilding steels of normal strength with yield point up to 490 MPa.
For welding in all spatial positions, except for vertical from top to bottom, at direct or alternating current of any polarity.
Electrodes provide for the excellent performance of the welding process due to super-stable welding arc and minor spatter loss and enable easy separation of slag.
Since the first and next ignitions are easy to make, the electrode is a perfect choice for short interrupted seam welding.
Characteristics
Welding position:
РА, РВ, РС, РD, РЕ, РF.
Application:
Fits for welding critical structures made of carbon and low alloy steels.
Used in construction, ship-building, machine-building.
General guidelines:
Welding electrodes do not require baking before welding.
If an electrode is moistened, 30–60-minute baking at a temperature of 150-170 °C is required.

Precautionary measures:
Welding can emit hazardous vapors and gases to health!
Avoid breathing these vapors and gases!
Ensure proper ventilation!
Wear appropriate eye and body protection!
