Designed for manual arc welding in all spatial positions. Can be used from both AC and DC power sources.

Electrodes with basic coating (with iron powder) and low content of hydrogen provide a low defect level of weld seams and low hydrogen content in deposited weld metal, as a result of which the probability of cracks formation is significantly lower than when using electrodes with other coating.

The presence of iron powder in the coating of electrodes improves performance. High quality welds with high impact viscosity at low temperatures (up to -30°C). Increased plasticity.

Characteristics

Welding position:

РА, РВ, РС, РD, РЕ, РF, PG.

Application:

Fit for welding of critical carbon and low-alloyed steels.
Used in construction, ship-building, welding of pipes, boilers, pressure vessels.

General guidelines:

Electrodes require baking before welding for 1 hour at a temperature of 350-380°С.
The surface shall be clean and free from dust, oil and other impurities before welding.
Short-arc welding shall be applied.
