Welding can be performed in all spatial positions with direct or alternating current. Designed for welding thin cast iron billets made of gray, high-strength and ductile cast iron and for welding of cast iron with steel, as well as for repairing and welding defects in gray cast iron castings.

Welding electrodes RS-Z308 are designed for cold welding of cast iron or welding with insignificant prior heating. Deposited metal can be easily machined. Electrodes are characterized by higher resistance against cracks and have high welding and processing properties.

General guidelines:

Electrodes require baking before welding for 1-2 hours at a temperature of 180-220 °С.
